Rödl Middle East participates in first Gulf Small & Medium Enterprise Forum
Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the First Gulf Small and Medium Enterprise Forum was inaugurated by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Ahmed Al-Haroun on March 28, 2011, at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kuwait. More than twenty five local and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) companies participated in this event. The forum was largely attended by business owners and entrepreneurs as well as several high profile dignitaries and members of parliament including Sheikh Ahmed Al Fahad – Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. Rödl Middle East represented the financial and management consulting industry in the region at the event.
Rödl Middle East was chosen to offer a seminar for creating awareness on the importance of business planning and how instrumental a business plan is for realizing goals of small and medium enterprises. Abdulrahman Al-Kandari, Executive Vice President of Business Development at Rödl Middle East, presented a seminar on business planning which received wide scale participation among the 128 members present at the event. He also emphasized the role financial and management consulting firms play to assist new startups and help them avoid any pitfalls along the way. The seminar received a very credible response from the attendees and addressed various challenges small and medium enterprises face managing their businesses. The event magnified the role Rödl Middle East plays in the financial and management consulting domain in the region and has positively enhanced the “Rödl” brand. The seminar has resulted in an increased awareness of the services Rödl provides and we are very confident to increase our reach to the business community in the region.
